This is a great sensory activity for any theme. We were studying dinosaurs so I made a shaving cream dinosaur (Diplodocus to be exact, most kids call them long necks). I set out liquid watercolor and droppers for the kids to paint the shaving cream. I also set out corn meal and we discovered that it was wonderful for absorbing and watercolor that tends to run. What fun!! Easy clean up…use a tray or other hard plastic to just scoop into the trash…the kids love to help clean.
